It was really nice place. Near everything and the service was good.
Room was not like the picture but it was clean and the staff was available 24/7. The location was right in the center of everything which was convenient. No amenities like pool or fitness but they do have a restaurant.
This was within 1/2 block of the center of town. Right next door to the cathedral. Yes, you hear church bells in the morning. Nice rooms and surrounded by some great restaurants. Three block walk to the two open markets in town. People were very friendly. We were there for Dia De Los Muertos. Which was a wonderful experience in itself. Very safe downtown at night.
I have made a reservation, but I decided to cancel a month before my reservation date. I sent out an email this confirmed that reservation is canceled and never sent me my refund saying that’s the policy. Once you reserve you cannot cancel even though a month before my arrival date I think this is a rip off ridiculous service And unhuman I do not advise no one to reserve in that place
Although considered a 2-star hotel, it was a nice hotel. Rooms are on the ground floor past the restaurant, with additional rooms on the second floor. There is no elevator but the staff helps you with your luggage. The front desk staff and housekeeping provided excellent, friendly, and helpful service. My room (#7) was on the second floor, which had a king bed, was clean and spacious, and the window overlooked the courtyard restaurant. I liked that the door had an extra lock mechanism, which made me feel safe. My only issues were regarding the safe and shower. The safe was difficult to use and I needed assistance 2x, first because I couldn't set up a password and second because it stopped working due to a battery falling out inside the safe. There is no barrier separating the shower and bathroom floor, so sometimes the water would puddle and spread over to the bathroom floor. It also took some time for the hot water to come on during the first use and the stream wasn't too strong/powerful. The hotel is next to the Parroquia, so expect to hear the constantly ringing bells throughout the day and night. If that is an issue for you, I don't recommend this hotel. If it isn't, know it's in a prime location by the Parroquia and El Jardín.
Very convenient location, romantic atmosphere and excellent service. The restaurant was super convenient, excellent food quality and service. Made our stay special.
